Welcome to Biology I
Biology I is a science class covering topics such as cells, human populations, genetics, evolution, and the classification of living things.
Student requirrement for class: three ring binder, pen/pencil, text book, highlighter (checked daily for participation grade)
-HW completion is also a part of the participation grade!

Wednesday 11/4: Review metabolism; Set up the yeast and molassas lab; Review for population quiz THURSDAY!
HW: Review population reading and note guide for quiz tomorrow!!
Thursday 11/5: Collect data on yeast lab; Take a quiz about populations and complete an extra credit crossword

Friday 11/6: Collect data on yeast lab; Take down the lab and clean all materials; Read an article about H1N1 together in class (complete the KWL chart)

Make sure all missing or late work is turned in ASAP! You are responsible for turning in missed class work and HW from absences, field trips, etc... You may need to schedule time after school to make up lab activities.
